Hot Summer Days

As a kid, besides Christmas, I always looked forward to summer.  The sign I would look for that indicated summer was around the corner was June Bugs. Because to me, seeing those bugs meant summer was close by!  When I look back on my childhood I can still smell the hot summer air, or cool night summer breeze. One of my favorite things to do as a kid was go to the Fiesta Village Water Park. We would go at least once a week, and it was always the best time! There is nothing better than the thrill of going fast down the waterslide, getting butterflies in your stomach and water in your face. My favorite thing to do would be to go down the tube slide with a friend and close your eyes. It was so much fun, you never knew which way you would turn or when the water would splash your face and it made the experience that much better. Laughter

Don't you think the best kind of place is a place filled with laughter? 

With just an ounce of laughter, a place can instantly feel comfortable, making us feel right at home. Laughter is contagious in every aspect of our lives. When we hear someone laugh, it instantly brings a smile to our face no matter how old or young we are.  

As I walk through Fiesta Village, laughter fills the air. I think there must be 1,000 kids putting their passes to use on their end of the year school field trip. As the rides and race cars run on a loop, these kids are having the time of their lives with their best friends celebrating the end of another school year. It is easy to see that they will remember this day for the rest of their lives.  The great thing about a place that is full of laughter is that it brings people together, leaving the best kind of memories in our hearts forever.
